    A Project Manager – Account Management is responsible for developing and implementing plans and programs for moderately complex installation projects to assure hardware and software products are installed/implemented in accordance with customer expectations of effective performance and reliability This position works with Account Manager, Regional Sales Managers and customers to plan and execute software and/or hardware installations that applies professional principles, practices and techniques which facilitate resource allocation, project schedules, expense control, and quality to ensure effective and efficient product implementations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Manage ES&S implementation projects in association with tabulation, poll book and other products including but not limited to project scope, task assignments, project scope and expense control, and revenue collection for project services rendered.
    2. Reviews client expectations and ensures all deliverables are achieved in accordance with agreed upon project plan including but not limited to product delivery, installation, training and delivery of ES&S proprietary and 3rd party software, licenses and their compliance, network connectivity coordination, and hardware components. Ensures resource assignments are effectively executed and may be made on a just-in-time basis.
    3. Effectively communicates and collaborates with an array of stakeholders including but not limited to internal Senior Executives, account management team, sales, accounting, order entry, manufacturing, training, field services, legal, shipping, certification, technical services, engineering and product development; and external stakeholders that include State, county and municipal government officials and staff including Secretaries of State. The Project Manager must communicate effectively to understand expectations and reconcile and resolve difference with respect to implementation activities in alignment with customer and contract specifications.
    4. Develop and implement project plans using techniques that facilitate effective communications, provide escalation processes to monitor, document and report project performance to ensure continuous improvement and optimal execution of the project(s).

    Qualifications:

     

    Education:  Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer technology field and work toward a master’s degree in a related field;

     

    Experience:          

    At least 3 years experience including:

    Leadership of projects including sound decision making and direct management of management teams

    Thorough domain and industry knowledge of elections

    Proficiency with MS project, Team Track and other workflow and/or project management tools is preferred

    Licenses/Certifications Required: Project Management Professional (PMP)

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities, but closely collaborates with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

     

    Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

     

    Travel: Approximately 40% travel is expected.

     

    Security: Required to consistently demonstrate adherence to all security requirements and accepted practices as contained in the current ES&S Security Policy. Incumbents must proactively read, comprehend and adhere to all ES&S security policies, practices and procedures regarding the safety and safekeeping of co-workers, products, services and other intellectual property as defined in the ES&S New Business and Non-disclosure, or Proprietary matters, Confidential matters and Non-Competition agreements, and the current ES&S Security Policy Manual.
