Plans, designs, develop, evaluate, tests and integrates ES&S systems infrastructure, including implementation and design of hardware and software. Specifically, this includes responsibility for designing, analyzing, implementing and administering Local Area Networks (LAN’s), Wide Area Networks (WAN’s), and server infrastructure in accordance with ES&S company goals and objectives. Defines system requirements and generates performance and reliability specifications and requirements. Provide high level technical support and manage assigned projects. Performs troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and performs post project end user support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer technology field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent background);
5 years of experience designing, planning, testing and implementing IT network systems
5 years of experience with IT systems, network and systems management technologies
5 years of experience with the following areas:
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Strong Problem Solving/Analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Personal effectiveness/credibility working with complex projects and multiple constituents
Ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
MCSA certifications in Office 365, SQL Server, Window 7/10, Server 2008/12/16
VMware Data Center Virtualization certification, VMware Desktop and Mobility certification
CCNA certifications in Routing and Switching, Wireless and Data Center
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.
