Responsible for maintaining corporate financial records and regular preparation of accounting reports and journal entries. Assist in the maintenance of the Company’s financial reporting system. Assist in the investigation of variance issues and prepare company general ledger accounts for auditing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience.
At least 2 to 4 years experience including:
Experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Experience in preparation of journal entries to the general ledger and financial statements reporting
Proficient in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook, with an emphasis on the use oo Excel.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing across the organization will be weighed heavily. Needs to have above average communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills are needed.
Attention to detail with an ability to spot numerical errors.
Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.
