A State Certification Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of certification plans and programs corresponding to certification testing events among assigned State Election jurisdictions, ensuring the products released within the Voting Tabulation, Poll book and other potential segments meet product certification requirements. Interaction with State Election Directors, State Boards of Elections, Election examiners and Secretaries of States are common. This position collaborates with functions including but not limited to Sales, Product Management, Product Development, Federal Certification, Technical Services, ES&S Manufacturing, Account Management and Legal functions to ensure ES&S election system products and services comply with the performance standards of each state jurisdiction assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer technology field preferred;
Experience: 5 years experience including:
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills; written and oral
Licenses/Certifications Required: None
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

Travel: Approximately 60% travel is expected.
