  • Job Description

    We are looking for a creative graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our business needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products, including websites, printed one-sheets, product design, conference give-away items, corporate identity, etc. and you will cooperate with our sales team.

    The goal is to get the ES&S brand and messages across to customers and potential customers.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

    1. Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts for internal and external use, event announcements, web site graphics, posters, brochures, newsletters, presentations and signage
    2. Understand the ES&S brand standards to be a champion for the brand and uphold standards in all design deliverables
    3. Actively lead, and improve where necessary, the marketing design process for efficient project management
    4. Work cross-functionally to participate in all stages of design process, communicate timelines and status and deliver materials that meet the needs of specific assignments and target demographics
    5. Bring value to brainstorming and idea generating sessions through your contributions
    6. Demonstrate foresight by understanding emerging tools, technology and business practices for the digital medium, and learn the application of these tools and practices
    7. Provide insightful feedback and use experience to improve the quality of the ES&S brand, and provide feedback to reduce the complexity of the user experience 
    8. Amend final designs to comments and gain full approval

    Qualifications:

     

    Education:  Degree in graphic design, art, or related field.

     

    Experience:       

    At least 5 years experience in a professional setting in graphic design

    Highly proficient with industry leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc.)

    Video editing is a plus

    Experience or familiarity with HTML

    Experience or familiarity with WordPress

    Experience or familiarity with UI/UX experience

    Photography skills

    Branding experience

    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Travel:  5% is typical

     

    Security:  Required to consistently demonstrate adherence to all security requirements and accepted practices as contained in the current ES&S Security Policy.  Incumbents must proactively read, comprehend and adhere to all ES&S security policies, practices and procedures regarding the safety and safekeeping of co-workers, products, services and other intellectual property as defined in the ES&S New Business and Non-disclosure, or Proprietary matters, Confidential matters and Non-Competition agreements, and the current ES&S Security Policy Manual.
