  • Job Description

    A Senior Talent Recruiter is responsible for assessing staffing needs and recruiting top talent through various channels to select the right hire.  The Senior Talent Recruiter is the public face of the company during the recruiting process and will ensure a candidate has a positive experience from the initial application to the final on-boarding process.  The position will continuously research and improve the various ways to acquire the most qualified candidates.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Develop long term hiring and recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
    2. Source, screen and interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills for open positions.
    3. Create an applicant pool by placing advertising for open positions on social media, job boards, professional career websites, state employment agencies, and employee referral programs.
    4. Manage and foster relationships with all staffing agency partners.
    5. Stay knowledgeable about the industry to understand the differences and requirements of various roles within the organization.
    6. Fully understand the company’s benefits, compensation structure, and culture to educate and attract top talent.
    7. Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events while serving as a brand ambassador for the company.
    8. Optimize our Applicant tracking system and other systems to increase hiring efficiency and tracking.
    9. Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details using our Applicant Tracking System.
    10. Scour job search websites for potential recruits and contact those candidates personally
    11. Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay current with future hiring and business needs.

    Qualifications:

     

    Education:  Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management or related field

     

    Experience:          

    At least 5-7 years’ experience including:

    Full cycle recruitment processes  

    Utilizing and working with Applicant tracking systems

    Working on social media databases and professional networks

    Experience with various interview techniques and evaluation methods

                               

    Competencies:

    Effective negotiating skills

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills      

    General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.

    Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork

    Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload to meet deadlines

    Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.

     

    Licenses/Certifications Required:  None

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

     

    Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

     

    Travel:  15%

     

    Security:  Required to consistently demonstrate adherence to all security requirements and accepted practices as contained in the current ES&S Security Policy.  Incumbents must proactively read, comprehend and adhere to all ES&S security policies, practices and procedures regarding the safety and safekeeping of co-workers, products, services and other intellectual property as defined in the ES&S New Business and Non-disclosure, or Proprietary matters, Confidential matters and Non-Competition agreements, and the current ES&S Security Policy Manual.
