  • Job Description

    A Project Manager, Account Management Position is responsible to act as ES&S liaison for assigned client election product installation projects including but not limited to pre-assessment of risk, planning of resources, creation of project plans with detailed objectives and action schedules including assignment of project duties, establishment of time and travel budgets, and establishment of contact with appropriate ES&S management as needed for a successful product implementation.  Prepare the project team in understanding the prospective of project scope, planned strategy, and overall objectives.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Manages ES&S election projects and designated resources for clients by interpreting project scope implementing task assignments for a successful election, and assists with the collection of contract revenue. Continuously verifies project tasks and is prepared with a formal change control system for deviations to the original scope.
    2. Ensures  high quality deliverables (e.g. on-time deliveries, accurate ballots, comprehensive software/hardware testing) by identifying resource requirements, developing and controlling project activities and budget, and verifying activities executed are in alignment with project and customer specifications.
    3. Works closely with clients and cross functional stakeholders to understand expectations and reconcile implementation activities in alignment with customer specifications.
    4. Track and resolve all project related issues and action items; and focus on continuously improving processes that contribute to effective and efficient implementations that fully satisfy customer expectations.

    Qualifications:

     

    Education:   Must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer technology field;

     

    Experience:          

    At least 5 years experience including:

    Knowledge of project management processes

    Exposure to technical activities such as software development, system integration, software quality assurance

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project

    Familiarity with business analysis processes is highly desired

    Licenses/Certifications Required:  Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

    Travel:  Approximately 40% travel is expected.

     

    Security:  Required to consistently demonstrate adherence to all security requirements and accepted practices as contained in the current ES&S Security Policy.  Incumbents must proactively read, comprehend and adhere to all ES&S security policies, practices and procedures regarding the safety and safekeeping of co-workers, products, services and other intellectual property as defined in the ES&S New Business and Non-disclosure, or Proprietary matters, Confidential matters and Non-Competition agreements, and the current ES&S Security Policy Manual.
