    A Senior Business Analytics & Master Scheduler Specialist is responsible for ensuring we have the equipment and parts available to fulfill orders and for confirming the correct configuration and firmware are used for each sales opportunity.  This position will lead activities related to converting the sales forecast into a manufacturing plan. This includes but is not limited to preparing analyses and reports throughout the complete production cycle and making recommendations to optimize processes with respect to product demand, production scheduling, materials inventory and serialized finished goods. 

     

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Plan, monitor, gathering critical information about the cost of manufacturing; prepares schedules using inputs from relevant stakeholders’ and understand and coordinate the work and time involved in planning each activity throughout the production cycle.
    1. Work cross functionally with Sales, Account Management, Pricing & Contracts, Order Entry, Materials Management, and manufacturing to coordinate and monitor status of actual production relative to the manufacturing plan in order to satisfy the expectations of customers with respect to deliver of finished goods.
    1. Assure products are certified in the State to which the product is being delivered; and work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure quality assurance steps are completed.
    1. Analyze product manufacturing and prepare reports based on analytics relevant to the planning and production of voter tabulation and related products.  Evaluating Product manufacturing, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions for voter tabulation and related products.
    1. Lead ongoing review and make recommendations for builds and the purchase of long lead parts and accessories based on current inventory levels, quantities on order and forecasted demand.

    2. Work with contract manufacturers and key suppliers to ensure finished goods can be built on or before they are needed by the ES&S production team.

    3. Audit QC production jobs to ensure the correct configuration and firmware was selected for each sales opportunity.

    4. Leverage accounting skills to audit prepayments to contract manufacturers to ensure the proper payments are made so as to not hinder builds and shipments.

    Qualifications:

     

    Education:  Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field;

     

     

    Experience:          

    At least 7-10 years’ experience including:

    Knowledge of product planning/scheduling processes

    Proficiency with inventory management database systems

    Good understanding of accounting principles

    Experience creating detailed reports and excellent documentation skills

    Licenses/Certifications Required:  None

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

     

    Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

     

    Travel:  Approximately <20% travel is expected.
