  • Job Description

    The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for communicating the ES&S brand through many different marketing/advertising outlets. This includes a focus on digital marketing, content writing and project management. This candidate should be highly detail oriented and dedicated to time management.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

    1. Actively coordinate marketing initiatives such as email campaigns, online marketing campaigns, landing pages, nurture programs, etc., including troubleshooting and managing schedules
    2. Communicate campaign status updates to Marketing and Sales in an effective and professional manner
    3. Curate content and write compelling blog, social media and event promotion copy
    4. Website content maintenance and coordination
    5. End-to-end email marketing campaign coordination, including customer database management, content creation, distribution and results reporting via email marketing automation platform
    6. Coordinate the distribution of incoming emails to subject owners
    7. Assist with administrative functions for Government Affairs
    8. Assist with coordinating national conferences
    9. Act as a liaison between marketing and multiple departments to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
    10. Printed materials and digital design production support

    Qualifications:

     

     

    Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 4 years directly related experience required.

     

    Experience:       

    At least 2-3 years experience including:

    Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

    Experience with social media tools

    Experience with writing and editing copy

    Familiarity with CMS and marketing analytics tools

    Familiarity with SEO and keyword research best practices a plus

     

    Competencies:

    Excellent organizational and planning skills

    Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate information effectively

    Extraordinary attention to detail

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with numerous, overlapping priorities

    Ability to work with limited supervision

    Occasionally required to work outside established work hours due to business needs (May include evenings and/or weekends as required per event)

    Fantastic customer service ethics and high expectations for quality

    Computer Skills - Proficiency required in MS Office Suite, PDF, Adobe, required.

    Mathematical/Logic/Reasoning Ability - Basic mathematical skills required in a typical office environment

    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.

    Travel:  Approximately <10% travel is expected

     

    Security:  Required to consistently demonstrate adherence to all security requirements and accepted practices as contained in the current ES&S Security Policy.  Incumbents must proactively read, comprehend and adhere to all ES&S security policies, practices and procedures regarding the safety and safekeeping of co-workers, products, services and other intellectual property as defined in the ES&S New Business and Non-disclosure, or Proprietary matters, Confidential matters and Non-Competition agreements, and the current ES&S Security Policy Manual.
