    Seeking a Project Manager for our Product Development division to lead one or more Agile teams through the development of our software, firmware and web-based Election products.  Work collaboratively with delivery teams, release management and senior management to plan and deliver high quality releases of our market leading products.  Assess the business objectives and product needs to establish the appropriate framework to manage and lead product delivery teams to success. The Project Manager shall organize resources to maximize throughput, productivity and contribute to the marketability and profitability of ES&S Voting Systems products.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and manage project plans through the full SDLC including product inception, release planning, requirements definition, development, testing, documentation and certification.
    2. Facilitate Scrum activities including iteration planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming and retrospectives.
    3. Manage and coordinate across multiple delivery teams simultaneously
    4. Remove team impediments
    5. Maintain Agile tools and artifacts such as story board, charts, backlogs, reporting, etc.
    6. Determine metrics and reporting as a catalyst for change and improvement.
    7. Provide status reporting for project and program management
    8. Identify, analyze and implement new systems, technologies and methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement

    Required Skills

    1. Excellent communication skills; both written and oral.
    2. Ability to work effectively as a team member and servant-leader.
    3. Working knowledge of multiple project management methodologies
    4. Proven leadership experience in Software delivery, building and sustaining high performing teams.



    Education:  Must have a bachelor’s degree in software engineering/development; computer programming, Information Technology or Business management.



    Minimum 5 years experience working in software development or similar technical environment

    Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or similar role is preferred

    Experience with new product development is preferred

    Experience with Agile methodologies

    Project Management training



    JIRA experience strongly preferred

    Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project and SharePoint

    Problem Solving/Analysis

    Communication proficiency

    Personal effectiveness/credibility


    Licenses/Certifications Required:  Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI_ACP) is preferred.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


    Work Environment:  This job operates in a variety of environments including professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers; and production or warehouse environments which exposes incumbents to production machinery/tools and material handling equipment.

    Travel:  Less than 10% travel is expected.


    Security:  Required to consistently demonstrate adherence to all security requirements and accepted practices as contained in the current ES&S Security Policy.  Incumbents must proactively read, comprehend and adhere to all ES&S security policies, practices and procedures regarding the safety and safekeeping of co-workers, products, services and other intellectual property as defined in the ES&S New Business and Non-disclosure, or Proprietary matters, Confidential matters and Non-Competition agreements, and the current ES&S Security Policy Manual.
