The Director, Business Analysis & Product Documentation is responsible for establishing, implementing and driving the strategic direction of the Business Analysis, UX Design and Technical Documentation for our Product Development division. This includes leading a team of business analysts, UX designers and technical writers and incorporating best practices for requirements management, UX design and documentation. Work collaboratively with Software Development, Quality Assurance, Release Management and Senior Management to deliver high quality releases of our market leading products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related technology field
Minimum 8 years experience working in software development or similar technical environment
Leadership experience in delegating, coaching, and managing performance
Experience with new product development is preferred
Experience with Agile methodologies
Licenses/Certifications Required: None
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position supervises a team of Business Analysts, Designers and Technical Writers
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment which routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, and photocopiers.
